My position as a mechanical engineer at Florida Design Drilling included working with various industrial equipment as well as help design, construct and maintain drill rigs and their supporting equipment. With this opportunity, I was able to expand my knowledge daily on the following: CAD Design, Power generation, Controls/Sensors, Hydraulic/Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical Systems, AC Motors, Variable Frequency Drives, and various design.

E1 is a Rotary table driven drill rig. The focus of this project was to update the structure and the Motor Control Center (MCC).
E2 is a Top head drive drill rig specialized for deep well drilling. Joining Florida Drilling, the immediate focus was finishing the Design, Fabrication and Assembly of E2.
The Automated Well Development tool is a ESP32 microcontroller driven system that is responsible for a specific test used within the water well drilling industry. It consists of a 3 stage system that uses servo motors, linear actuators, solenoid valves, various sensors and a self developed sensor.
